The Master Profile
Unlike traditional resume builders where you edit a document directly, Resumancer separates your data from your presentation.
Your Master Profile is a comprehensive database of everything you've ever done. Every job, project, skill, and education entry lives here. You only write it once.
- Add all your bullet points, even the ones you rarely use.
- Tag entries with skills and keywords.
- Keep a history of every project, big or small.
The Editor
When you want to apply for a job, you create a new Resume. This is a "view" of your Master Profile.
In the Editor, you simply drag and drop entries from your Master Profile (left panel) onto your Resume Canvas (center panel).
- Drag items to reorder them.
- Edits made in the Resume do not affect your Master Profile (unless you want them to).
- Create different versions for "Frontend Developer", "Fullstack", or "Engineering Manager" roles.
AI Copilot
Resumancer comes with an integrated AI assistant to help you write better content.
- Refactoring: Highlight a bullet point and ask the AI to "make it more quantifiable" or "fix grammar".
- Tailoring: Paste a Job Description and ask the AI which of your Master Profile entries are most relevant.
- Gap Analysis: The AI can scan your resume and point out missing keywords or weak sections.
